We got back to NOLA last week...woohoo! Glad to be home, even if the visit with the kids wasn't long enough. We went to Mississippi the day after we got back, got a hotel & just spent the day at the beach & resting up from the long trip. It was very very nice lol...
Brenna left for her trip to WA. the Tue after we got home. Ivan stayed with us. She's moving out hen she gets back & into her own place (w/her boy friend) sure hope she remembers to come get the pug lol. Ivan & Gus have been doing nothing but fighting since she left....well only when I'm around. It's like they are fighting over me & is a bit stressful. They never did this when Lily was alive, who know she was a calming influence on them? Gus seems to be very possessive of me & does not want to share at all! Ivan misses Brenna & wants to cling to me.....so they fight!!!
Jeff & I went to the 'Saints Football kick off Parade' It was held in the afternoon & sooooo hot & muggy we only stayed for 3 floats & 4 marching bands. But still had fun :-) I'll post picts late.
I had to go back to DR was getting sick again....I hate pneumonia, so am on meds again & need to find a Dr. locally. That way I can stop going to Urgent Care lol. I am feeling better now, still not up to were I should be energy wise but getting better. woohoo.
We went down to the river tonight, first time since we got back. Was great, I have really missed that & so has Jeff. Just sat down there & watched the lights on the other side & the ships coming & going! Then walked home....fun & good exercise!
I should be able to go back to work 2moro....boy I hope so..I'm getting sooooo bored staying home!!!!
